We are seeking a talented SoftwareEngineer to join our dynamic Automation and Engineering team. Thisrole offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge engineeringtechnologies and advanced robotic systems, developing innovativesolutions for clients across a variety of industry sectors. As aSoftware Engineer, you will play a key role in designing andimplementing software for robotic and automated systems, as well asspecial-purpose machinery. Prior experience with these or similartechnologies is essential.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Developsoftware solutions for robotic systems, automated machinery, andbespoke industrial projects.
* Collaborate withcross-functional teams to deliver advanced engineering solutionsfor diverse industry sectors.
* Integrate visioninspection systems, sensors, and other hardware with softwareplatforms to support mathematical modelling and systemintegration.
* Develop and optimise software forHuman-Machine Interface (HMI) systems and motion controlsolutions.
Required Ss&Experience:
* Experienceas a software engineer working with automation technologies,including robotics, special-purpose machinery, conveyors,high-speed machinery, packaging systems, or warehouse automationsystems.
* Degree in Software Engineering,Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, with strongprogramming ss for automated systems andmachinery.
* Proficiency in C# .NET (preferred),with the ability to integrate and process data from visioninspection systems, camera systems, and sensorplatforms.
* Knowledge of PLC control systems,able to evaluate and select appropriate control systems based onproject requirements and ess the strengths and limitations ofvarious programming tools.
* Experience withintegrating motion control systems, vision systems, robotics, andpneumatic systems, developing software solutions for thesetechnologies.
* Familiarity with 3D machinevision systems is advantageous.
* Strongproblem-solving ss, with the ability to work independently and takeinitiative both on-site and autonomously.
* Avalid UK driver's license is required, as occasional travel tocustomer sites will benecessary.
