Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Description Location: England, Greater London, London Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide specialised instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs Knowledge of SEN support strategies Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Additional qualifications in Special Education would be advantageous Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as an SEN tutor or in a similar role Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises Ability to develop and implement individualised education plans Excellent problem-solving abilities Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications in Special Education Experience with assistive technology for SEN students Training in behaviour management techniques Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexibility required Work may involve travel to different educational settings Collaborative work environment with other educators and professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
