Requirements:
- We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- A BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field-based experience.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, including setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft or CompTIA) are desirable.
Responsibilities:
- As a Technical Services Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support for CFM, covering software, hardware, and general ICT infrastructure.
- Documenting CFM's ICT processes in collaboration with the team, helping to maintain alignment with our Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Acting as the first point of contact for external providers and addressing day-to-day system issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Managing client interfaces within our AccuServ System and partnering with third-party personnel to optimize system efficiency.
- Overseeing CFM's ICT infrastructure, maintaining cloud platforms per SLA, and ensuring managed services align with business needs.
- Monitoring costs related to third-party support to ensure they remain within approved budgets.
- Collaborating on ICT projects and development, including requirement analysis and user acceptance testing.
- Supporting ongoing projects and contract mobilizations, ensuring timely delivery of our ICT Program.
- Developing an ICT Integrated Management System (IMS) for standardized application training across all departments.
- Providing continuous coaching and training to departments, particularly on the use of our IMS built on SharePoint.
- Playing a crucial role in the IT mobilization of new clients or contracts, focusing on software and hardware requirements and training.
