Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting property claims assignments generated from the UK insurance markets. This will include both domestic and commercial property claims.
This position is based in the Manchester/Leeds area and will require travel domestically for fieldwork predominantly in the north of England but also throughout the UK. As such, an element of hybrid working is possible.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering loss adjusting services to clients at a consistently high level and will help to develop and execute an agreed strategy with all parties to ensure a smooth and accurate conclusion to claims.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the following activities:
* Active adjustment and claims management skills
* Accurate and concise reporting
* Ensuring compliance with all service level agreements
* Management of own diary system
* Liaising with Advanta’s Head Office and UK property team to maintain high standards of work
* Participation in the growth of the Advanta Global UK property business to include client liaison
* Assist the existing team with business development opportunities
Skills / Experience / Requirements
Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK without restrictions.
Ideal applicants will have:
* At least 3 years’ property loss adjusting experience
* Proven track record of property insurance, including commercial property losses
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Experience in managing their own caseload with backup support
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Dynamic and flexible to meet deadlines and client needs
* A willingness to adapt to support the business
* Loss adjusting qualifications (ACILA, ACII) or working towards them.

Location: North of England – Manchester and Leeds
Salary: Competitive (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract type: Permanent with 6 months’ probation period
Working hours: Full-time. Core business hours (9 am to 6 pm), Monday to Friday - Additional hours as required.
