A bit about the role
Spring Seesaw is an open plan purpose-built nursery which caters for up to 49 children from 0-5 years of age, situated within central Braintree close to the town centre, adjacent to John Bunyan Infant and Junior School.
Spring Seesaw caters for children with additional needs and pride ourselves in providing an inclusive service with support from our highly trained SENCO worker, with friendly and welcoming staff who are highly qualified, and passionate about the children's development.

In the role of Early Years Practitioner Level 2, you'll be allowing the children to explore and discover their own creativity, individuality, and imagination within our bright, engaging and safe environments. It goes without saying that you need to love being around children and will have the ambition to make a direct and positive impact on their young lives.
What you'll be doing
In the role of Early Years Practitioner Level 2, you'll be:
- Working as part of a team creating an environment in which children's individual needs are met and high standards of care are provided.
- Working alongside Level 3 practitioners in supporting children's development, participating, planning and setting up activities for a range of children.
- Developing successful relationships with children and their families.
- Observing and tracking children's development and share this with parent/carers and other professionals.
- Supporting children during mealtimes and toilet training.
What we need from you
In the role of Early Years Practitioner Level 2, we're ideally looking for someone who has:
- Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent. If you already have a Level 3 qualification do also get in touch.
- Safeguarding Level 2 or ability to achieve.
- Experience working in an early year's childcare setting or a setting working with children.
- A thorough current working knowledge of children's emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs from 0 to 5 years.
- A commitment to safer recruitment practices to protect our service users and have an understanding of and commitment to safeguarding best-practice.
