It’s important to us that our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work/life balance and we try our best to make sure this is the case. You’ll be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues. You should have good surgical and medical skills and be happy to provide support wherever needed. Whether you are an experienced vet or a new graduate, our team are happy to mentor and support you.
Based on the Penzance Retail Park, our bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. We are near St Michael's Mount as well as some fantastic beaches, so much so you could even enjoy a lunchtime walk along the seafront. With a coastal path running from Penzance to St Ives, you can really enjoy the outdoors on your days off from the practice.
By joining us you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. Our team are made up of 3 vets, 4 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s, 2 VCA’s and 3 Receptionists. Partner Rhiannon McCammick qualified in 2012 from the Royal Veterinary College, and has experience and a special interest in emergency medicine and procedures.
We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients. Our teams are inclusive and celebrate difference so if you meet our role requirements, we’d love to hear from you.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
