This role involves planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons, as well as assessing and supporting students in their learning journey. While a teaching or Language degree relevant to teaching ESOL qualification is beneficial, we can provide the necessary training and support for applicants to achieve this. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality photography lessons to adult learners Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of learners Assess and provide feedback on student progress Support learners in achieving their educational goals Ensure compliance with all college policies and procedures Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Experience in teaching ESOL adult students across all levels Level 5 teaching qualification or willing to work towards Evidence of commitment to professional development A good standard of Maths and English Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Diversity and Inclusion: Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of City of Portsmouth College.
