Role Overview
Are you a passionate and experienced F&B Manager looking for your next opportunity? Join a renowned boutique hotel in Derby known for its exceptional dining, wedding catering, and outstanding customer service. Lead a talented team and ensure an unforgettable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all F&B operations including restaurant, bar, and event catering
2. Manage and support front-of-house teams to maintain high service standards
3. Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen coordination
4. Control budgets, forecasting, payroll, and cost management
5. Implement health & safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations
6. Drive business growth, marketing, and sales strategies
7. Manage supplier relationships and stock control to minimize waste
8. Train, mentor, and develop a high-performing F&B team
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar F&B leadership role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage budgets, staff rotas, and operational procedures
Knowledge of EPOS systems, compliance diaries, and payroll systems
Ability to lead, train, and motivate a hospitality team
Competent with Microsoft Office & Social Media for business promotion
