Experienced Bookkeeper - Part Time (30 hours per week) £25-26K pro rata to £20,800 for 30 hours per week Permanent St Ives, near Huntingdon A local accountancy firm in St Ives is looking for an experience accounts administrator to join them as a Bookkeeper on a part-time basis of 30 hours per week (these hours are flexible to yours and businesses' needs). The company is a sociable, inviting place which prides itself on excellent service, and in this role you will manage a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities of the role will include: Managing the bookkeeping needs of a portfolio of clients Posting/processing of sales and purchase invoices Bank reconciliations VAT returns Answering ad hoc client queries - dealing with clients via email, phone, face-to-face Working closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate reporting To be suitable for the role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience: VAT returns experience is essential Experience using Xero & Sage ideal but training can be given if required Great communication skills, and the willingness to speak with clients on the phone, by email and in person when required Benefits package: Hybrid working available after completion of training/induction 21 days holiday pro rata Partially funded private medical insurance Annual bonus scheme Free car parking at all offices Regular social events If you are interested in this role, please apply here or email with your CV.
