About the Company Due to some exciting changes, this established insurance broker is looking to add a Broking/Operations Manager to work closely with the Head of Commercial to oversee the support function which consists of 12 people, made up by a Team Leader, Account Handlers and Administrators. Placing c£15m GWP as a department, with the expectation of reaching £20m by Summer 2025, this is a fantastic time to be joining the team. As a team they support Account Executives with the servicing and retention of their clients, placing risks with leading insurers & MGA's, and working closely with the in-house claims team when required. Good all-round commercial insurance knowledge is required for this role, along with the ability to manage multiple processes at once, whilst ensuring the business continues to evolve as they grow. Although the Broking Team Leader will take up day to day things such as training, reviews and one to one's, this role will have a lot of involvement in the technical development of the team, ensuring retention and growth targets are reached, and the distribution of workloads. The role will sit in on management meetings and be a part of a driven leadership team who are looking for someone with a similar mindset that can continue to push the business forward. Previous leadership experience isn't essential, so those seeking to step in to this will be considered based on their commercial knowledge. Experience with Acturis is advantageous.
