About Our Client
Our client is a professional body for building engineers in the United Kingdom and overseas, enabling a professional construction sector that works to create better, safer, and more sustainable buildings that enhance people’s lives. They bring together members who work across the life-cycle of the built environment, sharing knowledge and raising standards.
This role will focus on digital marketing and the delivery of key events, playing a vital role in implementing creative ideas to drive engagement and extend the reach of the Association.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including member communications and e-newsletters, to support the company strategy to drive brand awareness, member acquisition, and retention.
* Manage social media platforms and engage with online communities to enhance brand presence, including creating posts and associated graphics.
* Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic and social media engagement rates.
* Organize, promote, and host the Association’s webinar series.
* Work with our outsourced provider to organize and deliver the Association’s events program.
* Coordinate the speaker program with the CEO and Head of Technical Insight.
* Develop effective communication strategies to promote events.
* Maintain an overview of the budget and coordinate event feedback.
* Organize and promote the Association’s award program.
* Identify trends and opportunities to enhance marketing strategies.
* Create digital content including news items, blogs, and press releases.
* Work with the graphic designer to develop video content to promote company services.
* Ensure that marketing and communication activities are delivered accurately and professionally.
* Support the day-to-day tasks of the marketing and communications team.
* Support the team in achieving its strategic goals.
Skills Required
* A Marketing/Events Degree
* Placement year within the sector
* Experience in email marketing
* Experience in managing content and writing engaging copy
* Ability to spot opportunities and emerging trends
* Understanding of digital marketing applications
* Understanding of digital analytics and reporting
* Knowledge of social media monitoring tools
* Experience with content management principles
* Effective project management skills
* Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
* Familiarity with SEO and social media tools
* Relevant IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop)
* Ability to influence at a peer group level
HOURS OF WORK: (35 Hours) Mon-Thursday 9-5pm, Friday 9-4pm
HOLIDAY: 24 days holiday, plus 3 days closed over Christmas.
HEALTH & SAFETY: No current issues to report on site.
