What you’ll do
You will be joining a Digital Architecture team responsible for owning and shaping customer journey oriented full stack Digital solutions for various business demands using modern software architecture patterns.
1. You will assess new business Demands & Change Requests to provide a ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates based on a set of documented high-level requirements and solution approach assumptions.
2. You will work with Product Owners, UX, IT architects etc. to identify key e2e functional requirements & NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements) and support shaping of the e2e Digital & IT solution approach.
3. You will regularly ensure designs respect the principles of the AWS Well Architected Framework with respect to security assurance, resiliency & scalability, solution maintainability etc.
4. You will work with Product Owners & UX to refine the Digital solution requirements and NFRs, and lead on defining the e2e Digital solution design with appropriate input from peers with relevant SME (Subject Matter Expertise).
5. You will be closely collaborate with Technical Architects to define architecture guardrails, UX Teams for UX designs, Product Owners & engineering teams for refinement of Features, and engineering teams and project managers for high level delivery planning.
Who you are
6. You will possess knowledge and experience defining solution designs (including key NFRs) for Enterprise scale B2C or B2B services available on the Internet following highly decoupled micro-service and micro-frontend architecture patterns.
7. You will have knowledge and experience designing applications for the cloud (serverless & containerised and compute services, managed data services etc.).
8. You will showcase demonstrable knowledge and experience of REST API standards and API design.
9. You will display the ability to convey solution designs using industry standard design frameworks such as UML (Unified Modelling Language) or C4 (Context, Containers, Components & Code).
10. You ideally will have a good understanding of the AWS or equivalent Well Architected Framework pillars and guidelines, particularly regarding application security, performance & scalability, solution maintainability & cost management.
11. You will ideally have a working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies such as LEAN, Scrum & Kanban.
