To maintain a high profile within the specialty having direct clinical involvement. To develop and encourage innovation in nursing practice within the specialty. To identify "best practice" from available literature and disseminate throughout the Unit. Highlight areas for change as a result of research or audit and in conjunction with Ward Manager/Sister act as a change agent.
