We're looking for a talented Dispatch Operator to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of excellent customer service skills.

Please note:
In this position you'll be needed to work at weekends and work shifts in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview. The Role:
Receive incoming calls, coordinate with all operational, in particular the kitchen staff to ensure outbound trolleys are on schedule. Administrative work will be required and regular use iPad, tablets and computers. Monitor computers to determine arriving flight times to arrange for drivers to meet aircraft for unloading/loading. Provide accurate and timely information to Transport Team Leaders and other Unit Coordinator. Ensure production and off dock schedules are met. Coordinate with meal planners in case of any irregularities and changes. Contribute and manage within defined systems of working to ensure quality of product, service to the customer and team progression/development. Plan and manage the team's output to ensure delivery of business, section and customer targets. Escalate concerns to Duty Manager to avoid flight delays. You will be required to obtain an airside pass and cover all operational roles with the exception of driving roles. Attend/conduct daily operational meetings/briefings. Present accurate information and data as requested. Instigate and support continuous improvement initiatives. Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.The Candidate: Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering (desirable).
The ability to work calmly under pressure. Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills. Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.· Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety
and DFT requirements.
