Job Description
We are looking for experienced Qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our warm and welcoming team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting children's development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Duties
* Plan and deliver a range of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS guidelines.
* Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment that promotes children’s wellbeing.
* Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, contributing to individual learning plans.
* Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure that safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement within the setting.
Skills
* Passionate about early years education and child development
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, proactive, and committed to safeguarding and equality practices
* Experience working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy and understanding
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
