An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Plain Film X-Ray Imaging department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographer to work within the radiography team. The department includes the provision of plain film x-ray, dental (including cone beam CT) and theatre services as well as specialist modalities, including US, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy/interventional radiology.
The successful candidate will be a role model for demonstrating our Trust's values through their leadership attributes and be committed to providing high quality, patient focused care.
Although the successful candidate will be employed by STNHSFT (South Tees Foundation Trust), there will be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need arise. However, this role is primarily for STNHSFT The James Cook University Hospital Plain Film services. The successful candidate will join the Community Plain Film roster STNHSFT and work across all service sites. Successful candidates will be an employee of STNHSFT and managed as per the governance arrangements currently in place for Radiology and the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The Radiology service is dedicated to facilitating continuous professional development and role extension/advanced practice. There are more than 30 Advanced Practitioners within the service, with specialist experience in fluoroscopy/interventional radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and plain film radiographer reporting.
