Our client, an international aerospace company, has an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join them on a short-term contract basis. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this role will support the Senior Commercial Manager with a high-profile business growth project. This role requires working within an integrated bid team in the UK and USA.
Role: Commercial Manager
Location: Bristol (Hybrid working is available)
Hours: Mon-Fri (2/3 Days a week in the Bristol Office)
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain BPSS, Full SC is preferred.
Hourly Rate: Negotiable
Contract: Short Term (approx. 5 months, renewable).
Key Responsibilities:
This position is expected to fulfil a variety of tasks and responsibilities typically associated with a Commercial technical role, including, but not limited to:
1. Leads the drafting of proposal and contractual language.
2. Participates in the proposal and negotiation of agreements utilising approved contract terms and conditions.
3. Support proposal reviews in line with the internal gated process.
4. Supports / leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines, integrating business / finance / programme priorities to create solutions that balance business financial performance and customer relationship management.
5. Supports the development and documentation of guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements.
6. Ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations.

To be successful in your application, it is a requirement that you hold UK 'right to work' at the time of application and that you can achieve a BPSS security clearance at a minimum; a full SC is preferred.
