Job Responsibilities
6. Accurately record and assist in preparation of deli special orders to ensure guests are delighted with the finished products.
7. Weigh and label products for guests.
8. Set up the deli case according to company standards.
9. Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure guests' safety.
10. Maintain product level in sales cases.
11. Utilize appropriate suggestive selling techniques.
12. Follow proper procedures to ensure store meets out-of-stock percentage goals.
13. Check in deliveries and compare invoice to merchandise.
14. Assist in maintaining deli cooler efficiency by unloading deliveries.
15. Cross train in Meat, Prepared Foods and Seafood.
16. Maintain cleanliness of department and work area, including the back room.
17. Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
18. Provide exemplary customer service and greet guests in a friendly manner.
19. Fill orders.
20. Maintain safety as the top priority.
