CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism. We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission. This is an exciting opportunity for a methodical and organised individual with an interest in Investigations and Exhibit Management. As an Exhibits Officer within the FMT you will; Support all investigations within CTPNW and the wider CT Network when required. Support the SIO and Forensic Coordinator leading searches and act as a Bomb Scene Manager at Bomb Scenes. Attend Scenes, Search, Record and Recover relevant exhibits as identified in the Forensic Strategy, prepare MG21’s and the exhibits for transportation to the relevant Forensic Service Provider. Manage exhibits from cradle to grave and record on CT Holmes. Multi agency working with scientists and experts from various fields and other emergency services. Must be prepared to achieve and maintain skills for deployment in relevant areas such as License Search Officer, CBRN and DVI. The role involves occasional travel and overnight stays away from home for both training and operational deployments and attracts varied and extended working hours in line with operational demand, often at short notice. The successful candidate must be flexible and prepared for this.
