Key Responsibilities
* To manage a portfolio of existing clients and develop targets for continued growth.
* To provide VAT advisory and compliance services to a wide range of corporate clients in the FTSE100, FTSE250, AIM and private equity backed and privately owned businesses.
* To assist senior members of staff in client work and group management on occasions.
Requirements
* Significant understanding of VAT compliance with previous experience.
* Good knowledge of VAT technical areas.
* Responsibility for VAT compliance for own portfolio.
* A strong understanding and previous use of Microsoft Excel.
* Experience using an accounting/compliance software platform.
* Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio.
* Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients.
* Experience of dealing direct with Tax Authorities.
* Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
