Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To assist in the day to day operational activities of the QC area. Working closely with DC teams to carry out Quality Checks on Product that are Launch Sensitive. Offering a world class level of service and support relating to quality control specifications and the capture of quality data resulting in compensation from global.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships/partnerships with Internal Customers
* Understand process/procedures of the DC. Build relationships with the key points of contact and the correct escalation routes when required
* Operate the rectification process.
* Ensure Quality procedures are followed and that all Launch / Critical Products are inspected in line
* Assist in the Development of new processes / procedures
* Ensure stock is unblocked at earliest convenience
* Rectify any warehouse /container damages while keeping cost to a minimum
* Track all QC related product into the DC
* Monitor and action any other requests for QC
Key Performance Indicator:
* All procedures to be carried out within agreed SLA
* % PO qty / fail rate
* Adicomp Actual vs Budget
Key Interfaces: Operations support/ Customer service/ All warehouse departments / Global QC / distribution
Requisite Education:
* Proven administration experience preferably within a Supply Chain role
* Good knowledge of product through QC experience desirable
* Ability to understand, focus on and resolve day to day issues within the agreed parameters
* IT literacy (Excel/warehouse systems)
* Good communicator at all levels
* Process driven
* Appreciation of the importance of good customer service essential
