About The Role
Bespak are looking for a Laboratory Equipment Support Analyst for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this permanent, onsite role is £25k to £29k plus a discretionary annual bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.
Days working pattern – Monday to Friday, usual working times of 8:00 am to 4:30pm with an 8:45am to 3:45pm working day on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times which can be discussed with the manager.
As a Laboratory Equipment Support Analyst, you will be part of a small team that manage the QC’s laboratory equipment. You'll provide technical support, troubleshooting equipment issues and complete routine maintenance/calibration, temperature mapping in-line with current procedures. Your common sense approach will be essential in maintaining compliance, meeting deadlines, and upholding the highest quality standards. You'll also play a role in training, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement within the team and across the department.
Your duties will include:
* Using LIMS to schedule calibration and maintenance.
* Actively participate in projects and investigations.
* Liaise with external Service Engineers.
* Manage own workload with minimal supervision.
* Ensuring the on-going qualified status of the equipment.
* Support change and process improvements within the team.
Beneficial key skills and experience:
* GCSE Maths and English.
* Experience of working in a controlled environment.
* Proficient in laboratory systems (LIMS, data capture) and MS Office.
* An understanding of quality control principles and systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience of using a HPLC system is beneficial.
