We’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team at Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing in Kensington as an Accounts Assistant. As a key member of our office, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the smooth running of our racing administration. You’ll work alongside a friendly, motivated team who share a passion for racing, with plenty of opportunities to contribute and grow.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Monthly invoicing of owners
* Account reconciliation to ensure everything balances
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Generating detailed reports for financial insights
* Handling procurement for the business
* Overseeing and managing expenses
* Other administrative tasks as required

About You:
* Previous bookkeeping, payroll and/or office management experience.
* Ideally, experience with Prism horse racing management software and Xero accounting software.
* Basic Microsoft Excel skills
* An understanding of the Thoroughbred racing industry.
* Professional presentation and communication skills.
* A team player with a "can-do" attitude who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed.
