Gifford and Partners are leading a key process to appoint a Senior Management Accountant. A role with a bit of everything:
* The autonomy to challenge and enhance processes, making a real difference.
* Business partnering where you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, PE partners/Investors and some exposure to the banks.
* The opportunity to coach and develop a small team and non-financial and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the year-end audit process, working alongside senior finance leaders.
* Reviewing and reconciling balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and recommending improvements.
* Producing a monthly MI pack for the board and senior stakeholders.
* Supporting future M&A due diligence as well as integration of acquisitions into the finance structure.
* Preparing and reviewing monthly MI reports, ensuring accurate and timely financials.
* Managing month-end processes.
What we are targeting:
Ideally, you will be ACMA/ACCA qualified with experience in management accounts. A strong and confident communicator able to work across teams, influencing and guiding decisions with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. A strong accounting background and a requirement to be proactive and adaptable at seeking out and targeting key improvements. An ability to challenge, work at pace, and ultimately, make things happen!
