The Role
Reporting to the Civils Manager, the Street Works Coordinator will coordinate engineering works on the streets and roads, ensuring that they are completed within the agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards. You will liaise with the engineering team, contractors, utility companies, local authorities, and other stakeholders to contribute to the smooth and safe delivery of the works. This role will be based from our office in Burton on the Wolds, Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities for the role:
1. Plan, schedule, and coordinate all the civils engineering works related to the installation and maintenance of telecoms infrastructure on the streets and roads, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and legal regulations.
2. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, civils teams, local authorities, highways, and other stakeholders.
3. Review and verify the job packs before sending them to the civils teams.
4. Update and maintain all the trackers and records related to the civils engineering works, such as permits, notices, inspections, FPNs, billing, etc.
5. Participate in regular client meetings and conference calls, providing updates and feedback on the progress and status of the works.
6. Strive for a zero FPN culture by following and enforcing all compliance processes and best practices related to street and road works.
7. Meet or exceed the operational targets set by the management team.
