Join Our Positive Behaviour Support Team Part-Time (18.75 hours per week) | Home-based with travel | Covering East Cheshire & the North Are you passionate about helping people live happier, more independent lives? We’re looking for a new team member to join our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Team at Choice Support – a leading social care charity that supports people with learning disabilities, autism, and a wide range of support needs across much of England. About the Role In this role, you’ll help us put our PBS strategy into action. That means working with our services to create environments that support people’s wellbeing, improve quality of life, and reduce behaviours that challenge, including the use of restrictive practices. You'll be mainly supporting services in the North of England, especially East Cheshire, and occasionally further afield. You'll work from home, but regular travel to our services and offices in Crewe and Wakefield will be required. About You We’re looking for someone with strong experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may challenge. You’ll know how to carry out behaviour assessments, write behaviour support plans, and support services to put them into practice. You’ll also: Be passionate about person-centred support Be a great communicator and team player Be confident using Microsoft Office and other IT tools Have experience delivering training (or be excited to learn—we’ll support you to become a certified PROACT-SCIPr-UK instructor) Hold a relevant qualification (such as from IABA, Tizard, or Welsh Centre). A Master’s degree is a bonus, but not essential. Have access to your own vehicle and be able to travel to services and offices (some of which aren’t near public transport) Why Join Us?
