Process Operator
Flexi shift - a mixture of 12-hour day and night shifts 7am-7pm and every fifth week you will have 9 days off. We're looking for a Process Operator to join our team at KP Snacks. As a Process Operator, you will have responsibility for running the plant and improving and sustaining results and standards for the equipment you own. You will do this by building your capability including focusing on breakthrough areas determined by highest levels of loss. KP Pension Plan - contribution matching up to 7% of your salary
~ This is a flexible role with 1 contracted base day per year. Team members have the option to purchase additional holidays and take up to 60 hours (equivalent to 5 shifts) as stand-downs.

Take ownership of pellet plant equipment, driving performance improvements and building Autonomous Maintenance (AM) capability through the Equipment Owner Step Up Card process.
Champion safety, quality, and hygiene, following all procedures to maintain a safe working environment, support zero-loss culture, and adhere to clean-as-you-go housekeeping standards.
Identify and resolve issues at source, using basic engineering knowledge to fix defects, reduce waste and losses, and optimise energy usage across the line.
Communicate effectively across shifts, ensuring clear handovers and alignment through the Shift Daily Direction Setting (SDDS) process to maintain consistent performance.
Here in the UK, we're about 2,400 strong, spread across seven factories and our Slough HQ. Diversity isn't just a buzzword for us. Experience in manufacturing or the food industry is highly desirable, along with a good understanding of food safety (Level 2 certification beneficial, but training is provided).
Strong mechanical skills and confidence using hand tools are essential, as this is a hands-on role.
Good literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.
A proactive and flexible team player, with a positive, approachable attitude and willingness to support a variety of daily tasks.
