About the role We are looking for an ambitious, commercial expert, to lead our UK & Pureplay commercial team. We’re looking for an unstoppable pioneer, an inspiring leader and a formidable commercial trail blazer tasked with the extraordinary opportunity of driving forward our business’ ambitious evolution, to gain and hold the number ONE Beauty brand ranking in the UK. You will be responsible for leading the team as well as nurturing and developing our existing retail partnerships, while identifying new opportunities for the acceleration of our brand in the region, to effortlessly bring the Tilbury magic to life in store and online. This will be a fast paced, omni-channel role devising and overseeing a best-in-class department. You will be highly numerate, a team leader, target-driven, commercially savvy, keen to find creative solutions to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry As a Commercial Director, you will Drive ambitious, profitable, and sustainable growth to the business, leading on and then achieving agreed forecasts, plans, targets and budgets for the development of existing and new customers. Be a dynamic sales leader able to identify & align talent to build successful sales teams to scale for opportunity, inspiring their development and growth through coaching and expert leadership, always promoting positive behaviours in others, and leading by example. Establish and maintain amazing & collaborative relationships with retail partners at a senior level including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to ensure that the Charlotte Tilbury brand is positioned to deliver more than its due share of voice, visibility and exposure. Facilitate successful commercial negotiations and contract management including terms, pricing, distribution, space and location, in-store visibility and beyond. Insert yourself as a senior escalation contact to all relevant retail partners. Develop product go to market strategy, ensure accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management. Lead on owned property portfolio in region, leading negotiations with landlords and owning lease agreement process. Leading future distribution planning in region using vision and market insights, identifying new opportunities and calculating impact on regional P&L. Lead on communication of our category and regional market insights, ensuring market opportunities are identified and correctly liaise with global functions to capture actions required. Oversee project management function, ensuring regional wide projects are on time and communication channels are used effectively. Collaborate across regional senior leadership team to ensure best ways of working and process roll out to always ensure efficiencies. Who you will work with You will report directly to our wonderful Brand Director, UK & Pureplay. You will lead Head of Commercial and Controller level roles, whilst overseeing a department of highly passionate SNAMs, NAMs & NAEs. Build strong working relationships with our fantastic Retail teams, utilising insight from the field and engaging the team in the execution of the trading plans. Work closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR, and Store Design. Review implementation and performance of our annual strategy vs expectations on a regular and appropriately frequent basis. About you You have strong, demonstrable experience in a similar, senior commercial role ideally with a Beauty background. You are an experienced leader, you enjoy leading from the front and are all about your team You know how to inspire, coach and be an authentic leader, who communicates clearly. Be a visionary. Help everyone see and be excited by what's possible A completer-finisher; inspirational by nature with elevated and proven skills in partnership and negotiation. Experience of financial planning, budget and P&L management essential, you show great attention to detail and are results-driven. Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair (ideally within beauty or retail) Born multitasker, able to manage multiple priorities with ease, thrive working to pace and can adapt to changing priorities as needed, agility is a key strength of yours. An excellent communicator. Confident and comfortable presenting, able to influence and effectively articulate your point of view. You have exceptional organisational skills and can manage multiple stakeholders with ease Personable and approachable - able to build rapport quickly. Strong Business Acumen - You are able to see the bigger business issues for retailer and for the brand. You are able to formulate a strong account strategy and align to retailer priorities. You know how to quantify the business plan and be aware of impact across other accounts and on other teams. Results Oriented - You are proactive with a "no excuses" mindset. Comfortable working in ambiguity. You thrive working to pace, you are able to ruthlessly prioritise and can manage multiple deadlines at anyone time with ease.
