Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) is the business unit offering this role. GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services.
About the Role
As a Technical Delivery Analyst, you’ll be reporting to a Technical Delivery Lead and work closely together to oversee large scale infrastructure migration, microservices platform and data platform build. You’ll engage closely with the delivery teams, delivery managers, project managers, release management team and more, across the globe, to enable ongoing software delivery to SS&C clients.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage infrastructure and platform-built projects, collaborate with the wider program team for demand and capacity planning.
* Manage work allocation across delivery team as well as cross-team capacity planning.
* Track, monitor, and report on allocated work and budgets, ensuring team forecasts and allocation reporting is kept up to date with PMO and actively monitor project actuals.
* Manage external dependencies, risks, and issues, ensure timely escalations.
* Manage Jira tasks, recording and reporting including appropriate status updates.
* Promote and support Agile practices in the organization.
Your Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as customer engagement skills.
* Strategic and critical thinking, with a proven ability to quickly understand complex business and infrastructure.
* Growth mindset – someone who embraces challenges, adapts well to changes, is proactive, a problem solver, learns from experience, and has the desire to develop self.
* A team player who communicates and collaborates well with others. Communication and collaboration are crucial for success in large scale software development with teams in different locations.
* Willingness to travel internationally occasionally and work outside of local time zone hours as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System or related field.
* Comprehensive knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile development life cycles.
* Experience with project management, understands the interdependencies of business processes and information systems and demonstrates ability to see the bigger picture.
Highly Desirable
* Relevant certifications in project management i.e.: Prince2 or PMP
* Agile certification.
* Experience with Microservices and Cloud migration.
* Experience managing and delivering large scale infrastructure changes program at an organizational level across global geographies.
