Job summary The Hearing and Balance Service at Leeds Teaching Hospitals is looking for an enthusiastic Audiologists to join the Adult Rehabilitation and Diagnostics team. You will have a BSc in Audiology or BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) or equivalent, and be registered, or in the process of registering, with HCPC/RCCP/AHCS. Based in a newly developed department at Seacroft Hospital just outside Leeds City Centre the Hearing and Balance Service provides modern facilities and a comprehensive range of services, across multiple sites for patients of all ages including implantable devices and vestibular assessments. Due to the range of services provided, opportunities exist for training and development into specialist areas and staff can be supported through the Higher Training Scheme. Main duties of the job The department currently provides a range of services including Direct referral for hearing aid assessment Adult aural rehabilitation (including domiciliary and outreach clinics) Support to ENT Paediatric assessment and rehabilitation Tinnitus assessment and therapy The role will involve assessment and rehabilitation of adults across sites.
