We are now recruiting for a Clinical Trials BD Executive. The ideal candidate will be needed to achieve the sales target expected from the Ex U.S.A.-market. The successful candidate will be required to travel to our head office in Buckingham approximately once every 3 weeks.
Vitalograph is a leading manufacturer of medical respiratory diagnostic devices and software, used in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders, and advanced high-reliability equipment and software systems used in respiratory end-point clinical drug trials.
We have designed, developed and manufactured respiratory diagnostic devices, software, and consumables for healthcare professionals, for 60 years. Headquartered in the UK, Vitalograph has operations in Ireland, Germany, and the USA.
Responsibilities as a Clinical Trials Business Development Executive:
Maintain quarterly territory sales plan and provide accurate pipeline forecasting to the business.
Prospecting and identifying opportunities in new accounts within a defined region
Visit sponsors in the assigned region to develop relations and to promote Vitalograph's clinical trials program
Systematically report all contacts, opportunities and communications into the CRM system.
Submit regular Operational Reports detailing locations, activity and strategy.
Co-ordinate the proposal response process, ensuring the prospect receives the detail requested in a timely manner. Pay particular attention to walking a prospect through a proposal and actively managing any concerns, queries, or requests they may have.
Develop and nurture relations with key sponsor contacts within the assigned territory.
Requirements as a Clinical Trials Business Development Executive:
5 to 10 years of industry/sales experience
Ability to cultivate a network of account contacts and to build credibility based on product value, professional competence and customer service
Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry essential, with strong preference for experience within clinical trials
Understanding of GCP
Self-motivated and ability to hunt new prospects
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of the Global Business Development team
Fluent with the English language
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a medical or business-related field preferred
