We are thrilled to go to market for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Based at our Low Moor, Bradford manufacturing site, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our mechanical systems. Your role will involve diagnosing and repairing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, motors, and other process plant machinery. Diagnose mechanical faults and repair them efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and extend lifespan. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. About you A minimum qualification to NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in a manufacturing or process plant environment. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to work on a wide range of machinery. Knowledge of maintenance systems, processes, and tools. Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and best practices. Experience with predictive maintenance techniques is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
