Our client is seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Personal Tax. This role will integrate you into a supportive and collaborative Tax team, offering opportunities for private client compliance and advisory work. Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage an interesting and varied portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs (EIS/SEIS/VCT), landlords, self-employed individuals, dual residents, and non-domiciled individuals.
2. Act as the primary contact for assigned clients.
3. Handle HMRC enquiries and disclosures, and 60-day CGT returns.
4. Provide advice on IHT, CGT, trusts, property holding structures, taxation of employee share awards/options, and internationally mobile individuals.
5. Report to the Director and senior management while maintaining autonomy over daily tasks.
6. Review work prepared by junior staff and mentor team members.
7. Participate in meetings and calls with prospective clients.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Qualified by experience or a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) or Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT).
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of Personal Tax.
* Experience managing client portfolios and providing tax compliance and advisory services.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
