We’re partnering with a leading Social Housing Association in Birmingham to recruit a talented Architectural Coordinator to oversee crucial kitchen, bathroom, and access adaptations within existing social housing stock.
The Role
As an Architectural Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the adaptations team, ensuring that all modification projects are well-designed, compliant, and delivered on time. Your role will involve:
Managing design aspects of kitchen, bathroom, and access adaptations for social housing properties.
Ensuring all designs meet regulatory standards and align with tenant needs.
Collaborating with contractors, surveyors, and housing officers to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Overseeing planning approvals and ensuring compliance with building regulations and accessibility standards.
Acting as the key point of contact for design-related queries throughout the adaptation process. What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in architectural coordination, design management, or a related role.
Knowledge of social housing adaptations, accessibility standards, and building regulations.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders, from tenants to contractors.
