About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wealth Manager to join a leading wealth management firm based in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional with an existing client book of £200m+ who has a proven track record in managing HNW/ UHNW individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have strong intermediary relationships, a demonstrated ability to grow assets, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. You will be responsible for expanding your portfolio of clients, focusing on attracting new assets, and delivering customized wealth management strategies that address complex financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Develop, manage, and deepen relationships with UHNW individuals and families, ensuring tailored wealth management solutions that address their specific financial objectives.
* New Business Development: Actively source and acquire new clients, utilizing your strong intermediary network and reputation to generate new business opportunities.
* Asset Growth: Deliver year-over-year growth in net new assets, ensuring a consistent and sustainable increase in the size and value of your book.
* Investment Strategy & Advisory: Provide bespoke investment advice and strategies, with a focus on portfolio management, estate planning, tax efficiency, and alternative investments.
* Intermediary Relationships: Leverage existing and new relationships with professional intermediaries (e.g., solicitors, accountants, family offices) to source and generate new business opportunities.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal specialists, including investment managers, legal advisors, and risk officers, to ensure clients receive a comprehensive and holistic service.
* Market Insight & Strategy: Stay informed on global financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes to offer timely and strategic advice that meets the evolving needs of clients.
Requirements:
* Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to manage and grow a book of UHNW clients.
* Existing Client Book: A proven track record of managing £200m+ in client assets, with a focus on UHNW individuals and families.
* New Business Generation: Strong ability to source, develop, and acquire new clients, delivering substantial year-on-year asset growth.
* Intermediary Relationships: Established and trusted network of intermediaries (e.g., legal, tax, and investment professionals) that can introduce new business and help expand client relationships.
* Investment Knowledge: Deep understanding of investment products, wealth planning strategies, tax efficiency, and complex financial instruments.
* Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.
* Education & Certifications: A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with additional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent being highly desirable.
