Contract details: Approx. 12 months (Inside IR35)
Hourly rate: £26.67 Umbrella
Other Info: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm)
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Join our clients Security team providing operational support. You will work directly in support of the Site Security and Site Security Manager to enable the delivery of effective security advice, guidance and solutions in support of delivery and operational objectives.
1. Implementation of protective security activities, compliant with extant policies and frameworks requirements
2. Assist in the management of Security Service Providers
3. Assist with the management of Security Risks and Issues
4. Assist with the Performance management visual management dashboards
5. Assist with the implementation of Emergency Response
6. Assist with providing appropriate security input into event and project planning and implementation
7. Assist in adherence to Safety rules
8. You will audit and ensure the security suppliers are compliant with all contractual documentation
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and coordinate Technical Data authoring activities.
2. Ensure manual content delivery meets specifications and regulations.
3. Provide prompt customer support and manage queries.
4. Assess aircraft design changes affecting maintenance data.
5. Manage subcontractors and monitor their activities.
6. Identify and resolve issues affecting manual updates.
7. Conduct quality assurance assessments.
8. Interface with customers and stakeholders.
9. Drive innovation in Technical Data documentation.
Skill Set
Essential
1. A demonstrable background in security management with commercial or industrial sector.
2. Demonstrable application of Security Risk Management Principles
3. Complementary skills in risk management and emergency planning essential
4. Experience in the use of Google suite, Microsoft
5. Understanding of/or experiencing working with a security management team
6. Stakeholder management experience
7. Project Management - Leading and coordinating projects across multi-functional teams and communication chains.
Desirable
1. Experience in managing a 3rd party contractor is desirable but not essential
2. Ability to travel and at short notice
3. Lean management experience
4. Project management qualification eg. PRINCE2
5. IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or relevant experience
6. Level 5 or similar operational qualification in Security management or equivalent experience is essential e.g. CSMP, ASIS, SRMC.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete a BPSS clearance via the organisation before start.
