JOB OVERVIEW We take great pride in delivering a first-class experience at CSVPA, and the Catering Team play a crucial part in this by providing quality, healthy meals every day to our students, staff and visitors. As a Chef, you will contribute to the day to day running of the catering in the kitchen, canteen & coffee bar, ensuring the 5-star rating awarded and inspected by Environmental Health Organisation is maintained. In addition, you will ensure a high level of quality and standards at all times in relation to food and hygiene, ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to. You should be able to demonstrate good communication and leadership qualities and be able to understand. This role will report directly into the Head Chef and plays a vital part in the overall Operations Team of the school which is made up of three departments: Cleaning, Catering and Maintenance. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Main duties for the Chef will include: Day to day running and cooking in the kitchen Maintaining the 5 rating with the Food standards agency Ordering stock and storing all deliveries correctly Day to day running and guidance of staff Day to day communication with the client and Head Chef Please note, the above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and duties and reference to the job description should be made for this.
