Description Permanent contract | full-time 37 hours per week | £30,559 to £32,654 per annum (Grade G) | Norwich & South Norfolk Support for Success Practitioner – Housing Lead Hi, I am Suzie Stephens, Support for Success Team Manager. We have been a live service since April 2021 and a whole County service since September 2024. We have established great working relationships with Team Managers across the county, as well as Foster Carers, Supervising Social Workers and professionals from a wide range of disciplines. As a Support for Success Practitioner Housing Lead, you will work alongside Social Workers, Personal Advisors, Support for Success Clinicians and Practitioners and other key organisations involved in the lives of young people. You will engage with and provide interventions to young people to bring about positive change and support them into their adult accommodation, with a primary focus of reducing homelessness. This work will include working with care leavers who are approaching 18 yrs and those over 18 years experiencing acute housing need, working with local Housing Authorities and other providers of supported accommodation to find the right accommodation for young people when they need it. You will work alongside Social Workers and Personal Advisors to support them in their work with young people, particularly in respect of their housing needs and key transitions. With the relevant experience, you will also be provided with training in the tools and interventions needed to help you engage with young people and bring about positive change. You will receive regular supervision in addition to more informal support, from peers and colleagues.
