As we approach the New Year, schools are now planning for the rest of the academic year. We are working with a range of schools in the South West of England who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Weston-Super-Mare

You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and deliver engaging lessons.
The Role
Here at Long-Term Teachers, we support schools with Long-Term and Fixed Term needs, from 6 weeks +. These opportunities can be Part-Time or Full-Time, working around your commitments and availability.
We are looking for candidates who have experience working closely with children and/or young people. You must be a patient and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting children with their educational and social development.
Your role and responsibilities as a teaching assistant will also include:
* Work collaboratively with Class Teachers
* Adapt activities to meet the needs of children.
* Support small group interventions - based on core subjects.
* Work with SEND children.
* Challenge children in their work to gain the best learning experiences.
What is expected of you
* Have experience working with children or young people.
* Keen to influence and engage children in their learning.
* Bring an enthusiastic and positive attitude
* Bring creativity to the classroom and share your own ideas.
