THE ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role will be located in the UK and will be fully remote, with occasional travel to our office in Sheffield.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Working together with our Marketing Lead Generation team and from targeted lists, your role will be to bring in new event organisers, venues and similar clients as customers for NuBreed’s wide range of accommodation services. Ensuring new opportunities from existing clients are also captured.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Client Acquisition: Identify and engage high-value new business opportunities from the lists and leads presented.
* Proactively Source Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business prospects through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
* Business Growth: Drive revenue growth by securing new business and increasing client traction throughout the contract term.
* CRM Management: Become a fully trained operator of the CRM system using all available courses and materials. Ensure that the CRM system is up to date, accurate and complete at all times.
* Networking: Participate in industry networking activities to build leads and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
* Business Development Strategies: Formulate growth strategies, including market entry tactics, partnerships, and competitive positioning.
* Prepare Proposals and Presentations: Create and present compelling business proposals and presentations to potential clients and partners.
* Negotiate Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure mutually beneficial deals.
* Market Research and Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial focus with a proven track record in winning new clients, driving revenue growth, and business development.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in the hotel industry, events, and/or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) is a plus.
* Self-Motivation: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with a major CRM system.
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
