This role providesan excellent opportunity to lead a team in delivery of highqualityservices to customers while also making a significant contributionto the development of practices systems and processes directlyrelating to the effective and efficient delivery of the service.The role leads a team of up to 15 FTE and is responsible for theprovision of an efficient and customer focussed payroll and HRadministration service covering the full range of HR and payrollrelated transactions. The role will be one of several responsiblefor providing services to the county council schools and toexternal partners. The role will be responsible for ensuring highlyefficient effective and compliant payroll processing and forcontinuously developing and improving the quality of servicesprovided in a fast paced and efficient service deliveryenvironment. The role will be responsible for ensuring theresolution of complex problems and issues related to contracts ofemployment terms and conditions pay and pensions. The role willwork collaboratively and flexibly with the management team toaddress peaks and troughs in service demands. What you ll need tosucceed You will need to be able to supervise and support othersand to provide mentoring coaching and development for team members.You will be able to communicate complex matters in ways that otherscan understand. You will need sound knowledge of relevant payrolland pensions regulations services and schemes within LocalGovernment. You will have a good working knowledge of SAP or othersimilar equivalent systems sound and accurate overall IT knowledgeincluding Excel and be comfortable using and applying complex setsof data. Importantly you will be inquisitive with a commitment tocontinuous learning and improvement in service delivery. CANDIDATEMUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH SAP OR ANDORACLE
