We are offering this exciting opportunity for an extraordinary leader to join our team to support the development of our new and dynamic supported living service located in Bridgwater, Somerset. We support young adults and adults with disabilities and mental health needs within the service. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to seize the opportunity to help out with the set-up and launch of our services.
Job Summary:
You must be CQC-registered and will be responsible for managing the Bridgwater services and staff, providing effective leadership to the team, promoting our values and enforcing the implementation of policies and procedures. Your role will involve managing & controlling the running of the service and ensuring adherence to all regulatory and relevant legislation requirements. You will ensure the workforce has the skills, competencies, and knowledge to do their roles well.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Mentor, coach, and drive your team to succeed and push services to achieve a CQC ‘Outstanding’ rating. This includes regular meetings, supervisions and spot checks.
* Contribute to the overall growth and development of services in line with our vision.
* Conduct audits, monitor and review the services progress against service development plans and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
* Ensure compliance with company objectives and statutory requirements including but not limited to recruitment, training, leadership, person-centred approaches, health and safety, GDPR, and employment law.
* Play a lead role in negotiations with commissioning bodies on fees and contracts, as well as address any safeguarding issues that may arise that require a higher level of input.
* Carry out any additional tasks or duties according to your Registered Manager responsibilities and within your scope of competence.
Quality and Governance:
* Follow the Governance calendar and ensure all relevant systems and processes are undertaken.
* Ensure all audits are undertaken as per the Quality Assurance framework and actions are added to the Continuous Improvement plan.
* Carry out regular observations.
* Ensure that competencies are undertaken in key areas.
* Ensure that actions identified in surveys, audits and inspections are addressed.
