Finance Business Partner - Belfast - Temporary Contract

Hays Accountancy and Finance are seeking a candidate for our client to provide day-to-day financial management. This role is a 6 month contract with the possibility of contract extension.
Your new role
1. Manage grants budget and quarterly payments.
2. Enhance financial reporting and ensure procurement value.
3. Develop financial procedures and guidelines.
4. Prepare Annual Accounts for authorities.
5. Supervise finance team staff.
6. Prepare management accounts and respond to auditors.
7. Assist with corporate goal planning and ad hoc requests.
8. Contribute to Corporate and Delivery Plan.
9. Maintain accountability and stakeholder confidence.
10. Foster positive partnerships and team collaboration.
11. Adhere to policies and represent professionally.
What you'll need to succeed
Part-qualified member of a recognised accounting body or a fully qualified Accounting Technician.
At least 2 years of recent experience in:
1. Month-end closure and account reconciliation.
2. Internal or external audit processes.
3. Budget management and report preparation.
4. Providing financial support to non-financial departments.
5. Developing and implementing processes and procedures.
6. Staff management and performance oversight.
7. Desirable Criteria - Experience using Sage.
