Job Description
As a Marketing Optimization Executive, you will be responsible for optimizing our marketing activities and enhancing the customer experience for all our brands including Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala, Foxy, Party, and bwin. Your focus will extend to improving the user journey, and experience and maximizing the efficiency of our marketing activity.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring a strong foundation in marketing, a data-driven mindset, and a natural curiosity for innovation. We’re looking for someone who can think outside the box to identify and resolve pain points in the customer journey, optimize conversion funnels through creative A/B testing, and craft personalized experiences for targeted customer segments. Qualifications
1. Collaborate with your manager and key stakeholders to understand each brand’s strategy, identifying opportunities and initiatives that maximize acquisition impact.
2. Develop a thorough understanding of customer touchpoints and proposition design to pinpoint areas for enhancement, ensuring new customers have a seamless, efficient experience.
3. Conduct detailed customer journey mapping to visualize and understand the end-to-end experience of new customers, identifying key moments of friction and areas of improvement to streamline the acquisition process.
4. Manage and analyse landing page development and optimization to ensure they align with brand objectives, drive traffic effectively, and enhance conversion rates.
5. Identify potential opportunities by examining customer feedback, call center insights, bug reports, site outages, and customer behaviour data reporting.
6. Assess the impact of site changes made by our team, recommending follow-up actions to continually refine user experiences.
7. Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Cube, and Power BI to uncover friction points or opportunities within customer journeys, delivering actionable insights to enhance web conversion.
8. Oversee quality assurance (QA) for landing page templates and the acquisition journeys when launching new product or propositions.
9. Coordinate and execute A/B testing initiatives aimed at improving conversion rates and early-stage performance metrics, gathering requirements and collaborating with marketing, creative, development, and QA teams.
10. Explore and implement innovative strategies, including personalization techniques and AI-driven solutions.
Additional Information
1. Previous experience in a digital marketing or customer acquisition role, ideally within online gaming or a similar fast-paced industry.
2. Proficiency in managing complex, multi-step projects using workflow management tools (e.g., JIRA) to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution across teams.
3. Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
4. Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar platforms, with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and inform marketing strategies.
5. Competency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), to support data analysis and presentation of insights.
6. A solid grasp of user journeys, usability principles, and UI/UX fundamentals to enhance conversion funnels and optimize the customer experience.
7. Fluent in both written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
8. Experience in managing or supporting successful A/B testing initiatives or optimization projects, with a willingness to engage in continuous testing to drive improvements. This is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
