Superior Recruitment Group are working with an exciting client based in Teesside who are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This is offered on a Permanent/Staff basis only, so will be suitable for people located in the North East of England.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in accordance with company procedures, policies and standard working practices.
2. Ensure contractual obligations and schedules are met.
3. Execute projects in a professional and ethical manner.
4. Drive the project team to optimise project revenue, margin and resources.
5. Ensure full compliance with company procedures and Statutory Regulations.
6. Deliver projects in line with contractual obligations, specifications, quality and safety requirements while maintaining or bettering baseline budget and schedule.
7. Lead, drive, co-ordinate and motivate the project team, other departments and third-party suppliers to ensure project objectives are achieved.
8. Early identification of project risks and opportunities and management of mitigation/realisation activities.
9. Build and manage customer relationships with a proactive approach to communication, reporting and ongoing development.
Role Requirements:
1. Experience as a Project Manager in the fabrication/heavy manufacture industry.
2. Experience working with Primavera or MS Project planning.
3. Able to read and understand contracts.
4. HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
5. Able to read and understand fabrication drawings and undertake material take-offs.
6. IT literate including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
