Job Description
Overall purpose of the job:
1. Drive new business in the Blue Light and Public Safety sector.
2. Building on existing successes and developing new opportunities to both direct blue light customers and their wider product and service supply chains.
3. Engagement with key System Integrators and strategic partners supporting our current deliveries and expanding these relationships to drive joint success.
4. Selling colocation and data centre services, IT infrastructure and managed services, and WAN/network services
Key responsibilities for this job:
Direct customers and supply chain
5. Develop and execute a new business sales strategy focused on colocation, IT infrastructure, managed services, and WAN/network services.
6. Identify and engage with key decision-makers in blue light organisations (police, fire, ambulance and users of these services) and their supply chains.
7. Build strong relationships and position Exponential-e as a trusted partner for mission-critical IT and network solutions.
8. Drive sales through a mix of direct engagement, tenders, and partnerships.
9. Work closely with internal technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.
System Integrators and strategic partners
10. Own and develop strategic relationships with key System Integrators and technology partners that align with our blue light and public safety projects.
11. Act as the primary liaison between Exponential-e and key partners, ensuring alignment on joint opportunities and project delivery.
12. Work closely with internal teams to drive collaboration, enable joint go-to-market strategies, and enhance solution integration.
13. Develop and execute account plans for key partners to identify growth areas and new opportunities.
14. Support ongoing deliveries by ensuring effective engagement with partners, addressing challenges, and maximising commercial opportunities.
15. Represent Exponential-e at industry events, partner meetings, and strategic discussions.
Knowledge and experience required:
16. Proven experience in selling into the Blue Light/Public Safety sector.
17. Established relationships within police, fire, ambulance, or related service supply chains.
18. Track record of securing new business and managing long-term strategic engagements.
19. Strong experience in managing strategic relationships with System Integrators, technology partners, or large enterprise customers.
20. Ability to navigate complex partner ecosystems, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term engagement.
21. Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams.
22. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Desirable knowledge and experience:
23. Understanding of data centre services, managed IT, and WAN/network solutions.
24. Experience selling IT, colocation, or network services.
