Implementation Technician Job Description MIS Active Management Solutions have an exciting opportunity as an Implementation Technician. Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, the Technician will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of process automation and associated elements within the Housing Management Software. Utilising their expertise and experience, the Technician will further support the Implementation Team, providing clarity and guidance and adhering to best practice standards. Key Responsibilities To work as a member of an empowered team with a sense of collective responsibility and purpose and to provide support and advice to colleagues. Working closely with other members of the teams, including support and development departments as required. To provide effective internal and external communications. To promote and practice a high standard of customer care. Maintain continual program of self-training on the full product suite as well as self-improvement towards new technologies. Advise and assist with the standardisation of procedures and practices. Manage and review a Library of functional scripts and procedures. Performing customer database upgrades and installation of key software components. Advise and assist with process improvement. Assist and guide 3rd line support where applicable with key knowledge of product integration and functions as required Technical consultancy and customer guidance. Provide advice and guidance to support Statement of Works production. Performing technical gap analysis. Documentation of processes, procedures and work undertaken. Following security standards, making improvements where needed. Technical Skills Education to degree level preferable but not essential. At least 2 years experience of MS SQL Server and T-SQL to a high standard. High level of competency with both HTML, CSS & XML. Previous experience with Windows Workflow Foundation or Microsoft Flow. Knowledge of technical infrastructure beneficial but not essential. Experience of end user programming (e.g. VBA, C#) would be beneficial Soft Skills Have excellent communication skills with both customers and colleagues. Ability to work on own or as part of a team. Good planning and organisational skills – able to prioritise work effectively. Ability to work accurately under pressure Positive and upbeat attitude towards challenges Demonstrate excellent time keeping. To be able to receive and provide constructive criticism. Ability to provide feedback and creative ideas within meetings. Flexibility, adaptability and logical problem-solving Working with customers to build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
