Within this team, you will find yourself buying anything from commodity items through to contracts relating to Space, Energy and Carbon Net Zero, Consultancy, IT services and goods to name a few, but no two days are the same.
This role would be perfect for someone who has a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines with the ability to prioritise your own workloads, working alongside other team members as well as independently.
Key responsibilities
* Provide sourcing services for purchases up to £100K.
* Guide and support our partners purchasing and non-purchasing community in the use of e-procurement tools.
* Maintain the policies and procedures for the Procurement teams, including recent Government requirements and initiatives.
* Manage requisitions of multiple values within the team via Oracle.
* Manage the administration of Service Requests relating to electronic procurement process, meeting SLAs agreed with the Partner Organisations.
To do this role well, you will need:
* Experience in the customer focused delivery of customer objectives.
* Experience of working both in a team and independently, with the ability to organise multiple priorities with time-pressured deadlines.
* Intermediate knowledge in Outlook & Microsoft Office Products, as well as the ability to analyse using Excel.

Working pattern
We work a mixture of full-time hours across a 37-hour week.
