About the role The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences is looking for a hardworking, motivated individual with good interpersonal skills to join our busy Faculty Finance team. You will play a vital role in the operational management of our finances, including purchasing, invoice and expense processing and budget monitoring. You will work closely with staff and students within the Faculty to ensure that University controls, processes and best practice are followed throughout. Effective and professional liaison with internal and external contacts is an integral part of the role and so a need for tact and discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality and remain professional are essential. As the end of the University Financial Year is 31st July, annual leave may be restricted during the last week of July and first week of August. We currently work on a hybrid basis, working a minimum of 3 days per week on campus. About you You will: Have a logical and methodical approach to work and strong numeracy skills. Possess strong communication skills. Be able to show a good use of initiative, work accurately. Ability to multi-task and prioritise a high workload, working both independently and as part of a team. You should be AAT qualified to level 3 or have equivalent relevant experience. Further information This is a full-time post working 36.5 hours per week.
