SEMH Teaching Assistant – Knutsford (WA16)
A great opportunity has emerged for a committed individual to take on a Teaching Assistant role in a specialised secondary school provision in Knutsford. This full-time position entails closely working with a group of five Year 8 pupils with SEMH needs.
The incoming TA with deliver personalised support to Year 8 students with SEMH requirements, fostering their academic and personal growth. This will contribute to the execution of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) along with implementing effective behaviour management strategies. The successful TA will encourage students’ engagement and advancement.
This long-term role will begin in as soon as possible, with the possibility of a permanent school contract after a successful trial period. SEMH experience is immensely beneficial for this role, and the ideal candidate will have experience in a SEMH setting.
The successful candidate will receive £83.85+ per day (no umbrella companies or agency fees). The school would be happy to develop this role into a HLTA vacancy for the right candidate, with appropriate compensation.
